Park County records a new case of COVID-19

足球滚球比分Park County has recorded an eighth confirmed case of the coronavirus, according to the state of Montana. 

足球滚球比分The new case is Park County’s first in just over three weeks.

足球滚球比分According to the state’s case update Thursday, the new case is a male age 40-49. That is the only current active case in Park County, according to the state.

足球滚球比分Park County Health Officer Dr. Laurel Desnick said that although the new case will not affect the county’s current restrictions, it’s a good reminder for people to continue to social distance, avoid crowds, wash hands and not touch your face.

足球滚球比分The most important thing is for each person to do what they know is best, Desnick said, and keep from harming someone else unintentionally.

“We just need to manage ourselves and ask others to do the same,” Desnick said.

足球滚球比分As of Thursday, there have been 453 total confirmed cases in Montana, with 16 deaths and 392 recoveries.

足球滚球比分The state is currently in phase one of Gov. Steve Bullock’s reopening plan, which went into effect Sunday.

Contact tracing for Park County’s newest case began Wednesday evening, Desnick said, and any known contacts will get a call.

The patient is recovering at home in quarantine, she said.
