The city of Livingston has closed its offices to the public beginning Monday while there are four or more active COVID-19 cases in Park County, according to the city’s website.

足球滚球比分Four or more active cases qualifies counties for the mask mandate announced by Gov. Bullock last week.

“It just matches up with the governor’s directive,” City Manager Michael Kardoes said Monday of the closure.

Park County has reported 30 total cases so far during the pandemic, with 11 currently active. No new cases were reported over the weekend.

足球滚球比分In-person meetings may be available by appointment, according to the Facebook post, and staff are available by telephone and email.

足球滚球比分“Obviously we’re still here to help as much as possible,” Kardoes said.

足球滚球比分He said the city will work with people who have disabilities or medical reasons for not being able to wear masks.

Park County offices were still open as of Monday morning. Kardoes noted it’s easier for city offices to close than county offices because the city doesn’t really do anything time sensitive such as car registrations.

“It just cuts down on the traffic and hopefully cuts down on the transmission,” Kardoes said.

Park County Health Officer Dr. Laurel Desnick outlined the county’s COVID-19 testing priorities in a video update Friday. Desnick said the county has been receiving many requests for COVID-19 tests lately from the public.

足球滚球比分Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms should get tested as soon as possible and stay at home until the results come back, Desnick said. Tests for symptomatic people are being administered by Livingston HealthCare.

If you test positive, Desnick said, you will be notified by the health department and contact tracing will begin.

足球滚球比分People who have been in close contact for an extended period with those who have tested positive should also get tested for COVID-19, Desnick said. Those people are identified through contact tracing, she said.

足球滚球比分Asymptomatic front-line tourist workers are also being regularly tested, Desnick said.

“Because of our tourist economy in Park County, this gives us an important community snapshot, and helps us keep our businesses open,” Desnick said.

足球滚球比分Montana added 88 cases Monday, 62 Sunday and 106 Saturday, and now has reported a total of 2,621 confirmed cases of the coronavirus during the pandemic, with 1,248 active.

Montana has reported 39 deaths attributed to the coronavirus, and 167 hospitalizations, 48 of which are active.
